Strandopening in Hoek van Holland
The "Strandopening" (beach opening) has been an integral part of the Ascension Day tradition in Hoek van Holland for over 60 years.
This year, on May 9, 2024, it promises to be another great celebration. The traditional street festival, known as the largest in Zuid-Holland, attracts thousands of visitors to the Rivierkant street from 10:00 to 16:00.
Guests can also look forward to various festivals along the beach in Hoek van Holland. Highlights include the Royal Festival with artists such as Jody Bernal and Kris Kross Amsterdam, as well as performances at the other beach clubs.
